Aston Views LLC has begun construction on an 87,000-square-foot, two-story office building in the Carlsbad Research Center at the west end of Aston Avenue in Carlsbad. The managing members of Aston Views are Mark McLaren, Bill Shirley and John Tworoger. The design by architect Smith Consulting Architects features a two-story lobby, skylights and natural light. Space planning will be handled by Cooper Roberts Bennett, with office space available from 5,000 to 87,000 square feet.
Leasing will be handled by Dan Oury, Kent Moore and Rick Reeder of BRE Commercial/NAI. The general contractor is Lusardi Construction Co. and completion is expected at the end of May. Property management services will be provided by Spectrum Property Management. Aston Views bought the 8.7-acre lot (4.7 acres net) last July for $2,625,000. |
